AgFood Connect is a pilot program provided through the Department of Education, Skills and Employment as part of the Youth Jobs PaTH initiative.

This project is designed to train and keep young people in regional areas, lower the cost of training and employment for agribusiness and build skills and resources for regional areas.

Regions we cover include Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Toowoomba, Warwick, Stanthorpe, Darling Downs, Goondiwindi, Roma, Dalby, Kingaroy, Kilcoy.

I am working currently across the agribusiness supply chain with employers to identify job applicants that suit employer workforce requirements, now and into the future.

Employers can either employ directly or access the services of DGT Employment and Training or Golden West Apprenticeships and simply host the employee for the required period of time to complete a workforce requirement.
