The manufacturing sector is vital to growing and diversifying Queensland’s economy and creating the jobs of the future. Attracting highly skilled women into the sector will be increasingly important to its success. Gender diversity in the workforce drives innovation and idea generation.
We invite you to join us for our third year of Women in Manufacturing celebrations. We will be discussing Queensland manufacturers’ ability to innovate and the importance for women to become a part of the new highly skilled occupations that are required for the future, and how to encourage and support new entrants into this evolving sector.
