SB Regional Council Notice of Extension for Contractors
Thursday, 23 November 2017 16:34

Notice of Extension to Current Contracts for Prequalified Suppliers

Council wishes to advise that current Prequalified Supplier Contracts have been extended on a month by month basis until 30 June 2018. The purpose of this extension is to allow time to review the process behind the renewal and including the ongoing use of Prequalified Suppliers contracts.

Council was due to call tenders for Council’s Prequalified Suppliers Registers. The tenders were to be issued in early November with the new Prequalified Suppliers Registers contract period to commence in December 2017.

Council is undertaking a review of the Prequalified Suppliers Registers process. The current review will move toward the ability for Council to implement a longer contract period; greater flexibility to add and remove suppliers; renewal of suppliers every 12 months; and revising the Prequalified Suppliers Registers categories to better meet Council’s requirements and for ease of identification for Council Officers to meet service needs.

Please continue to monitor Council’s website for updates on the next round of Prequalified Suppliers contract.

For any enquiries regarding the Prequalified Suppliers Contract please contact Council's Customer Service Centres on 4189 9100.
