DESCRIPTION:Nominations are now open for the 2026 Queensland Training Awards – celebrating excellence in training and the power of skills to change lives. \nAcross  13 award categories\, the awards recognise the outstanding achievements of apprentices\, trainees\, students\, teachers and trainers\, training providers\, community-based organisations and employers. \nSkilling Queenslanders for Work projects may be eligible to nominate in the Community Training Initiative of the Year category\, and participants in Equity Student of the Year or  Trainee of the Year. \nNominations are now open and close 22 March 2026.  \nCheck out the Queensland Training Awards website for more info about the awards\, including how to apply in a few easy steps. \nWe’re here to help too – email the DDSW QTA team at  toowoombaqta@dtet.qld.gov.au or call us on 0467 771 658. \nKey dates to follow for the awards presentation dates.
