It was launched\nby the late Dafyd Martindale as a “portal” for the region at the end of 2000. Over the years\, its face has changed several times. It has expanded and now offers additional services. It became an online newspaper in April 2012. This change was officially unveiled at a KCCI Meet & Greet!\nNow\, there’s another big change happening … \nMark Pitt – Board Member – South Burnett Community Hospital Foundation was established in 2002 and is a Not-For-Profit and Registered Charity. The Foundation has assisted with retaining and enhancing vital medical services in the South Burnett for use by the community as well as the support of and previous operation of the Lady Bjelke-Petersen Community Hospital.
