SUMMARY:SMILE Program: NICL Training
DESCRIPTION:The S.M.I.L.E initiative is aimed at businesses to create awareness around mental wellbeing in the workplace as well as ensuring business owners/managers are supported too. \nIf a business in the region is the member of the KCCI\, we will fund 2 people from that business to do the NICL training. \nAlternatively\, businesses can engage Bunyarra Counselling and Mediation themselves to deliver the NICL training. \nThe KCCI would like to see all businesses no matter how large or small to engage with any of the service providers we have in our region to discuss their options around mental wellbeing in the workplace.  We will have a list of providers on our website in the coming weeks. \nIf KCCI members would like to attend\, please email your interest to info@kcci.asn.au with preferred date and names of attendees. \n\nThe KCCI has engaged Bunyarra Counselling and Mediation after seeing a video on social media about their NICL program. Michael Sanford and Narelle Sanford from Bunyarra developed the NICL program after noticing the ever-growing need for early intervention around people’s mental health and it was a great fit for the what the KCCI is trying to achieve.
