DESCRIPTION:Nuclear for Australia will be holding an information session on Saturday 16 November 6:30pm – 8:30pm. This session forms part of the Coalitions commitment for Community consultation surrounding Nuclear energy. \nOverview\nYou are invited to join us for a special information evening\, where we will explore the potential for nuclear energy to transform our community and Australia’s future. \nTarong has been identified as one of seven potential sites for nuclear power plants\, pending the lifting of current restrictions. This event will feature expert speakers who will discuss the big questions surrounding nuclear energy\, including safety\, nuclear waste\, costs\, timelines\, water usage and more. \nThe evening will feature three speakers: \n\nHonorary Associate Professor Tony Irwin\, Australian National University\nDr Robert Barr\, Director of Electric Power Consulting\nProf. Stephen Wilson\, Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland \n\nThe event will be hosted by Jonathan Fisher\, CEO of Cauldron Energy\, as the Master of Ceremonies \nThis is your opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the implications of adopting nuclear energy in Tarong and to address your concerns directly to the panel. \nPlease submit any questions you may have in advance via the registration form to ensure they are addressed during the session.  \nWe look forward to welcoming you to this important discussion. \n\nIf you would like to attend\, please register on the following link: Tarong Information Evening – Nuclear for Australia
