DESCRIPTION:The Kingaroy Christmas Carnival has been part of the Kingaroy calendar for many years\, and every year the\ncommunity comes out in support of this fabulous event. Planning is well underway\, and we are currently\nlooking for local businesses to sponsor this year’s Kingaroy Christmas Carnival. In the past this has been a\nvery successful and much anticipated community event\, and it simply cannot happen without support from our\nlocal businesses. \nWe need your help\, and any sponsorship amount\, whether big or small\, is very much appreciated. All funds\nraised go towards the running of the event and will help to keep costs down for local families to have a fun\nnight out. DESCRIPTION:Wondai Warriors Recruiting \nWondai Soldiers have a proud history of service to the nation\, with members serving in peacetime and on overseas operations\, responding to Natural Disasters\, and assisting the Local Community or providing trained reinforcements to the Regular Army. \nFlexible training options start each Tuesday night and one weekend a month\, with various exercises and courses. We have a three-week Recruit Course at Wagga Wagga and continue with two or one-week courses. Pay is tax-free (paid each Fortnight) and all transport costs are covered\, it should cost very little to be a Reservist \n25/49 RQR has openings for additional soldiers from the South Burnett area and will be distributing information at Kingaroy\, Murgon\, Cherbourg and Wondai over the coming week. Soldiers within 25/49 RQR are mostly reservists\, and each contribute a minimum of 20 days of service per year with Full time service options of three or six months to qualified members.
