DESCRIPTION:Following a rigorous consultation period and through partnerships with the Rural Economies Centre of Excellence\, the Burnett and Mary Regional Drought Resilience Plans were developed\, ensuring strategies reflect the unique conditions\, priorities and lived experiences of people across our communities. Building on the Regional Drought Resilience Plans\, this next phase focuses on understanding where we can help and what we can do\, turning the plans ideas into action through collaboration\, innovation\, and investment. \nDesigned to strengthen our region’s preparedness for future dry times\, the next step is to invite you\, valued stakeholders and local community input to help co-design practical projects that bring the Burnett and Mary Regional Drought Resilience Plans to life\, and to develop these plans further. SUMMARY:2025 Christmas Carnival
DESCRIPTION:The Kingaroy Christmas Carnival has been part of the Kingaroy calendar for many years\, and every year the\ncommunity comes out in support of this fabulous event. Planning is well underway\, and we are currently\nlooking for local businesses to sponsor this year’s Kingaroy Christmas Carnival. In the past this has been a\nvery successful and much anticipated community event\, and it simply cannot happen without support from our\nlocal businesses. \nWe need your help\, and any sponsorship amount\, whether big or small\, is very much appreciated. All funds\nraised go towards the running of the event and will help to keep costs down for local families to have a fun\nnight out. Our biggest cost is of course the carnival rides\, and we strive to keep our ticket prices down so\neveryone can come along and enjoy the event. \nThis year our carnival will be held from 4pm to 9pm on Thursday\, 11th December\, in Glendon Street Kingaroy. \nSee the full sponsorship details here: \n \n
