Nominations open for the 2020 Queensland Greats Awards

Now in its 20th year, the Queensland Greats Awards recognise the efforts and achievements of remarkable individuals and institutions for their invaluable contribution to the history and development of our great state.

Nominations are open across three categories:

  • individual
  • institution
  • posthumous.

Since the Awards’ inception in 2001, total of 95 individuals, 15 institutions, 5 posthumous and 1 honorary recipient have now been honoured as Queensland Greats.

Do you know a remarkable Queenslander or Queensland institution who can be recognised for their long-term dedication to Queensland? It could be a friend, family member, colleague or a local community organisation.

Nominations close 5 pm, Friday 31 January 2020.

The 2020 Queensland Greats will be announced at a ceremony in Brisbane on or around Queensland Day, 6 June 2020.
