<p>The project&#8217;s scope entails the establishment of a comprehensive healthcare facility, including a modern aged-care facility, relocation and expansion of the existing Lady Bjelke Community hospital, and the expansion of GP and allied health services. The new precinct will enhance healthcare accessibility and improve the region’s capacity to meet growing demand for a variety of healthcare services. Construction will expand and improve existing facilities,<br />
provide an integrated day hospital and 300 room aged care facility supported by healthcare services.<br />
A key focus is on training and skill development to attract and retain workers to the region.</p>

The Advisory Council is looking for up to ten small business owners to advise the Miles Government on growing small businesses in Queensland. <br><br>The QSBAC was reinvigorated in 2021, delivering on a Queensland Labor Government election commitment and the $140 million <em>Big Plans for Small Business Strategy</em>. <br><br>The Queensland Small Business Advisory Council is looking for regional small business owners with diverse backgrounds from various industries to join the Council.
