Training is being offered in drought declared Regional/Shire Council areas and is fully funded (eligibility criteria apply) for community members in accredited and non-accredited units.

Rural Support Training Program
These courses are fully funded for eligible participants under the Rural Support Training Program. The eligibility has three criteria:
- age – minimum age 15 years (minimum of 18 years for HSR Training)
- citizenship – Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or Temporary Resident on the pathway to permanent residency
- place of residence or work – must be a Queensland resident and reside or work in a drought declared council area (e.g. Western Downs, Paroo, Toowoomba, Quilpie, Bulloo, Scenic Rim, Rockhampton) or on an independent drought declared property
One of the offered courses is Rural Support Training Program 1 (Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Training) to be delivered in Kingaroy from Monday 25th November to Friday 29th November (Please see attached Flier).
