The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) will launch a “new identity” for the South Burnett region at its upcoming Annual General Meeting.
The culmination of the KCCI’s “South Burnett Region Identity” project will be unveiled, which the business association describes as “a bold, collaborative step toward amplifying the region’s visibility, capability and market reach”.
The “identity” announcement at the AGM on November 25 will be followed by a two-hour workshop the next day which the KCCI says will help businesses and organisations apply the “identity directly to their operations, marketing and partnerships”.
The KCCI says the “identity” is more than a tagline. It captures the South Burnett’s spirit: “A place where people live their best lives every day; a community generous of spirit, warm of heart and unapologetically itself; a destination that blends country authenticity with entrepreneurial flair; and a proposition that invites the world to discover ‘open space experiences, closer than you imagined’.”
KCCI president Damien Martoo said the “identity” would be a reflection of “who we are and how we show up, not just for visitors, but for each other”.
“It’s a chance to unify our voice, celebrate our strengths and position South Burnett as a region that’s confident, collaborative and ready to rise,” he said.
The workshop will include exercises to help participants integrate the “identity” into their business strategies, customer experiences and regional storytelling.
A recorded version of the presentation will also be made available online to support ongoing industry development.
All business owners, community leaders and residents have been invited to attend the Identity Application Workshop, which will be held on Wednesday, November 26, from 5:30pm at the KCCI’s The Business Hub at 195, Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy.
Cost is $15 for KCCI members or $20 for non-members.
The workshop will be led by Sueanne Carr, from Customer Frame.
