10 December 2025

Over the next two years, Regional Development Australia Wide Bay Burnett will continue partnering with local employers, schools, industry and training providers to strengthen our regional economy and support a skilled local workforce, after being reappointed to lead Jobs Fraser Coast and Jobs Bundaberg as part of the 2025–27 Regional Jobs Committee program.
Following a competitive tender process, our successful renewal allows our teams to hit the ground running (business as usual!!) and continue the work already underway across the region, supporting employers, strengthening training pathways and helping local people connect with meaningful career opportunities.
We also welcome back Michelle Hay, continuing in her role as Chair of Jobs Fraser Coast, while Bree Watson has been appointed as Chair of Jobs Bundaberg. We extend our sincere thanks to Jason Searle for his leadership of Jobs Bundaberg over the past 17 months. Kirsty Hill will continue on as Jobs Fraser Coast Project Manage,r and we welcome a new face to the team with an announcement in the New Year.
We look forward to continuing this important work with schools, industry, training providers, employers and community partners across the Wide Bay.
