Expressions of interest are open!
Applications are open for various Board Chair and member positions across all Queensland Hospital and Health Boards, with appointments commencing in April 2026.
Hospital and Health Boards govern healthcare delivery across 16 regions in Queensland. Board Chairs and members play a vital leadership role, ensuring services are efficient, effective and responsive to community needs.
The Queensland Government is seeking applications from appropriately experienced individuals to fill Board vacancies across the state, particularly those with:
- commercial acumen
- local business experience
- strong community connections
- clinical experience within the health service region.
Applicants with expertise in health management, business, finance, human resources, legal, research, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health are encouraged to apply.
This opportunity is widely advertised across both digital and print media platforms, however, we would appreciate your assistance to distribute this Expression of Interest (EOI) through your networks. A stakeholder kit, the EOI and the candidate information pack is attached and may be used to promote the opportunity through your networks.
