Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the South Burnett region invite local trades & suppliers to learn more about the next steps for the project.

The approved project will deliver a 400MW / 1,600MWh battery facility on Oakey Creek Back Road, Ellesmere, next to the existing Halys Substation.

The Halys BESS will help support a more reliable and cost‑efficient renewable energy supply across Queensland, while balancing the growing use of solar and wind energy in the region.

Principal Contractor, Consolidated Power Projects (CPP), will be on hand to present information on the construction process, on-site requirements, and local job opportunities.
