Micro-credential Description
This micro-credential explains the fundamental principles of how solar PV systems work to produce electricity from sunlight, and introduces the key components and materials used in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
It discusses grid-tied and off-grid systems, the factors influencing the performance and efficiency of solar arrays, and the implementation requirements for solar PV systems. The micro-credential also outlines the safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the solar industry.
