Nanango Community Festival 18 September
Heritage Community Branch Nanango and Nanango Men’s Shed have pulled together something special for South Burnett – a movie outing with a BIG difference…two nights to celebrate and connect with our local farmers and YOU are invited!
We’re stoked to have Leila McDougall, the mastermind behind (and co-star of!) “Just A Farmer”, with us in Nanango on Thursday 17th September. She’ll introduce the film and stick around for Q&A after. She’ll be joined by Kingaroy local Eddie Sloan from Rural and Remote Mental Health. He’ll be with us Friday too.
THERE ARE TWO SCREENINGS!
Screening One:
When: 17th September 2026. Free brisket dinner from 4.30 pm, with the screening at 6.00 pm
Where: Nanango Cultural Centre
Screening Two:
When: 18 September 2026. Free BBQ dinner from 5.00 pm, with the screening at 6.30 pm
Where: Ringsfield House
A few things to know:
• Heads up – the film is rated M (15+)
• On Thursday bring the whole family anyway! We’ve got the kids covered with:
o Face painting, balloon twisting and more for our little ones (2-5 years)
o Age-appropriate craft activities for the 6-14 crowd
o All supervised.
Book early and come hungry because this is way more than just a movie night:
• Yummy dinner served before the film (brisket Thursday, steak on Friday) then tea, coffee & bikkies after
