Funded training with the WTSP programs

TQSW has scheduled a Workforce Transition Support Programs (WTSP) in Dalby and Kingaroy that may benefit your staff and/or clients, friends or family.

This program will deliver training at no cost to eligible participants in the following courses:

DALBY:

PROGRAM 1:

  • Mental Health First Aid (2 Days delivery) – Non-accredited (25 & 26th August 2021)
  • Introduction to Farm Risk Management – Non-accredited (27th August 2021)
  • Animal Welfare – Non –accredited (23rd August 2021)
  • Comply with quality assurance and HACCP requirements – Non-accredited (24th August 2021)

PROGRAM 3:

  • Vehicle inspection and minor repairs – 18th October 2021
  • Chain of Responsibility & Fatigue Management – 19th October 2021
  • Working at heights – 20th October 2021
  • Enter and work in confined spaces – 21st October 2021
  • Manual handling & load/unload cargo – 22nd October 2021

PROGRAM 4:

  • RSA – 31st August 2021
  • Food Handling – 1 September 2021
  • Coffee Skills 2nd September 2021
  • First Aid & CPR – 8th September 2021
  • Infection Control – 9th September 2021

 

KINGAROY:

PROGRAM 1:

  • Mental Health First Aid (2 Days delivery) – Non-accredited (29 & 30th July 2021)
  • Introduction to Farm Risk Management – Non-accredited (28th July 2021)
  • Animal Welfare – Non –accredited (26th July 2021)
  • Comply with quality assurance and HACCP requirements – Non-accredited (27th July 2021)

PROGRAM 5:

  • Test & Tag (8 & 9th November 2021)
  • Work at heights (10th November 2021)
  • Enter and work in Confined spaces (11th November)
  • Construction white card (12th November 2021)

Eligibility

The eligibility has three criteria, participants must fulfil to be eligible for this funding:

  • age – minimum age 15 years for this program
  • citizenship – Australian or New Zealand citizen or  Australian Permanent Resident or Temporary Resident on the pathway to permanent residency
  • place of residence or work – Permanently reside in a Queensland Regional Council area and have employment or employment prospects affected by recent events including drought, bush fires, floods, major employers ceasing operation in an area or the Covid-19 crisis.

  • Eligibility Form and supporting documents (e.g. driver’s licence – front and back and colour copy of green Medicare card)
  • Student Personal Details form (please remember to include the USI number on this form)
