Media Release: Mindful Blooms:
A new series of relaxed and inspiring events across the South Burnett will give locals a unique
opportunity to hear the real stories behind some of the region’s most dynamic small businesses.
Presented by BIEDO and hosted by Sharon Sippel of The Success Connector, the “In
Conversation With…” series is part of Queensland Small Business Month 2025 and will feature
one-on-one conversations with local business owners in their own spaces – over morning tea.

The three-part series will showcase:
Tuesday 27 May – Kylea and Ace at The Firebreak, where guests will hear how this husband-and-wife
team have created a unique rural escape and how they balance creativity, business, and
lifestyle.
Wednesday 28 May – Rachael Lehmann of Lehmann Cattle Company shares her journey from
corporate finance to raising four children and 300 head of cattle at Tansey, all while building a
resilient agribusiness.
Thursday 29 May – Abbey Williams at The Blooming Farmhouse invites guests into her beautifully
curated floral and styling space to talk about creative entrepreneurship and growing a business
in a rural setting.
“These events are all about sharing real, honest experiences,” said Sharon Sippel. “They’re
designed to inspire, connect, and celebrate the diversity of small business in our region.”
The series aims to highlight the resilience, adaptability and innovation that drives local
enterprise, while providing opportunities for connection, learning, and regional pride.
Each event includes morning tea and spaces are limited, so RSVPs are essential.
