Red Earth Community Foundation Welcomes New Development Coordinator and
Opens Applications for 2026 Leadership Program


The Red Earth Community Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Tansey based
Angela Doering as its Development Coordinator. Angela brings a wealth of experience and passion
for community development, and her leadership marks an exciting new chapter for Red Earth.
Coinciding with this appointment, Red Earth is also opening applications for their annual Red Earth
Community Leadership Program (RECLP)—a transformative initiative designed to empower
emerging and established leaders help shape future ready communities across the Burnett Inland
region..


Since its inception in 2014, the RECLP has supported over 240 local leaders in developing the skills,
confidence, and connections needed to drive positive change in their communities. The 2026
program promises another enriching experience, with two immersive sessions in the beautiful
Bunya Mountains on 15–17 February and 15–17 March 2026.

week .
“Investing in people – Red Earth’s mission – is also core to how I work, and I am delighted to be
given the opportunity to lead the growth of our community foundation.


“The RECLP is more than a leadership course—it’s a journey of growth, connection, and impact. I
have benefitted from leadership programs, and encourage anyone with a passion for community to
apply or nominate someone who would thrive in this environment.”


The RECLP is open to individuals at all stages of their leadership journey. Participants will gain:
